How Outlook started
Since its initial formation in Hong Kong in 1998, to the current structure headquartered in Singapore with offices and services in 8 Asian countries and with the addition of Mexico in 2022, Outlook has established itself as the leader in managing the supply chain for home furnishing products. Outlook’s owners and staff have focused their professional careers in furniture related industries, allowing them to become the foremost authority in developing, designing and managing the manufacture of home furnishing products for export.
Outlook’s desire to continually lead the industry lead it to open the first dedicated furniture testing lab in Asia, which later grew to include labs in China, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines.
As the market for Asia furniture manufacturing has rebalanced over the years, Outlook International Limited in Hong Kong was phased out and the owners established Outlook International (SG) Pte. Limited in Singapore to be more centrally located and to focus on the other emerging countries of Southeast Asia as well as expand our sourcing into home décor, hospitality, and other home furnishing categories.
Outlook maintains operational offices in Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Philippines, and India and also has inspectors based in Malaysia and Taiwan. In 2022, Outlook added operations in Mexico. In addition, our partner company, Outlook Technical Services (OTS) (https://otsglobal.com) owns product testing laboratories in Vietnam and Indonesia. We cover a geographical area stretching from China in the north to Indonesia in the south and from the Philippines in the east to India in western Asia with a full range of sourcing and inspection services for multiple product categories and price points.
